This isn’t what I expected, but I was entertained by your storytelling, as always. I assumed the double flush was another version of the courtesy flush. A courtesy flush is executed when you know that your dumpage is excessively stinky and that you’ll be in the unload position for longer than usual. One clears the bowl at halftime and resumes doing their business. This may also apply when you’re alone, and you either cannot stand your hideous output or think there’s a possibility of clogging the pipes. Or maybe both. Do the right thing.
